Recovery Coach Commission – Listening Session – Marketing Collateral
Working with the Recovery Coach Commission internal team, I was given the task to complete marketing material that would be used on and offline. To start this process, a meeting was called by the team to speak to us on the Communications team as to the best practices and possibilities. We sat down and explained the different ways that the message could be sent out. We spoke about media advisories, social media letting them know that timing was key in all of this to gain as much attention as possible. We went over best practices when working with reporters, key words to use on the pieces, etc. A whole host…

EOHHS Commission Websites
In the past few months, I’ve been busy working on commission websites. Had to sit down with my colleagues and let them know what was possible within the system and since I was told a few were on the horizon, I wanted to have a structure in place so that I could just apply it to all the commissions that would be coming up. I was told of all the content that they would like to have on there. It was short, simple, and to the point where they would have information about the statute, commission members, and also needed to have a section where they could add the materials…

Federal Shutdown – 2018 – Notice from the Executive Office of Health and Human Services
It’s after normal hours, but just wanted to document this day. Today, in the mist of waiting on information that has to do with the federal shutdown, I had to be on call to post some updates to our website. This information was crucial for those that would be affected by SNAP, WIC, and TAFDC (cash assistance) programs. We here in the Executive Office worked with the Department of Transitional Assistance to create the message. and what you selected the banner, it takes you to this message…

Here’s one with Governor Charlie Baker and Secretary Sudders the day of announcing a set of educational core principles for social workers. Nice to be able to witness such moments…

2018 Performance Recognition Program Awards at the Massachusetts State House – Gardner Auditorium
Secretary Marylou Sudders joins the Governor, Lt. Governor and other Secretariat members along with Commissioners to honor the work of those working for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Here at the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, MassHealth’s Camille Katsdever was honored for all the customer service she’s provided to the constituents of the Commonwealth who have had issues with MassHealth. MassHealth does have a customer service line, but sometimes, some questions and issues require extra assistance. I can speak on this so much because here at the Executive Office, we oversee all the social media accounts working closely with the other agencies, but for some time, MassHealth would have…

It happened…
So it finally happened! We successfully moved over all the Executive Office of Health and Human Services web pages. Yesterday marked the day where all legacy pages, those that were on a content management system called “Percussion” have now been moved over to the new content management system we are currently operating on, Drupal! It surely wasn’t an easy task, so much communication and planning went into this task. I was actually responsible for making sure everyone stayed the course to get their pages mulled over correctly and on top of that, I had to determine even for our own Secretariat what information would be useful to migrate over. It…
