2018 Performance Recognition Program Awards at the Massachusetts State House – Gardner Auditorium

Secretary Marylou Sudders joins the Governor, Lt. Governor and other Secretariat members along with Commissioners to honor the work of those working for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Here at the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, MassHealth’s Camille Katsdever was honored for all the customer service she’s provided to the constituents of the Commonwealth who have had issues with MassHealth. MassHealth does have a customer service line, but sometimes, some questions and issues require extra assistance.

I can speak on this so much because here at the Executive Office, we oversee all the social media accounts working closely with the other agencies, but for some time, MassHealth would have constituents reach out to them via social media and we’d try our best to answer the questions, but most of the time, we’d have to hand it over to Camille. So I actually know first hand how much she deserves such recognition!

From the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, the Interagency Hurricane Relief Task Force was also honored. They worked on placing families and individuals who came to Massachusetts and I believe else where looking for a place to stay after Hurricane Maria. It was a joint task that was carried out by all these folks!

And of course, as the Governor would, he found a moment to smile, the best part of my days working here when I see him do such. Sometimes, you just need to put the politics aside and just live!

Proud to be working with these hard individuals on a daily basis! If you’re interested and if it’s still available, view all the photos from that day by going to our Health and Human Services Flickr account.
